About this Event

Just between March 16th and April 9th, North Carolina saw 509,693 new unemployment claims. With so many people on the market it makes it extremely hard to land a new position nowadays.

During our Virtual breakfast we will talk about the actual things that you can do to upgrade your representation skills and get to the interview for a job you actually want.

Kate Wells and Caroleen Burroughs will discuss the tips that actually help. Our  speakers bring two diverse but complementary perspectives on finding employment at larger organizations as well as small business or startup.

Caroleen Burroughs stays agile in her career path. She started as a mechanical engineer in manufacturing then pivoted to an analyst at two Fortune 500 banks, and is now a Relationship Manager for Microsoft.  After multiple career transitions in rapid fire, Caroleen developed a clear roadmap for being agile with rebranding. Her passion is encouraging women to empower each other through learning and sharing experiences.

Kate Wells, MBA has 30 years experience in business management in small business and her passion is helping people succeed in the work place. She is a Fractional Chief People Officer providing a full range of HR services to small businesses and start-up companies.
