This event brings together talent and allies who work in the field of tech, leverage technology in their role, or someone who is interested in transitioning into being a techy all together. We are on a mission to create a safe space for people to network, gain and give mentorship, as well as be inspired to pour into our community with their gifts.

SUMMIT VIP EXPERIENCE

Without intention and attention, it can be easy to become disengaged and burned out.

To help alleviate this from occurring, OneTeam Leadership has created a unique program called Thriving in Chaos.

This highly interactive program is designed to help participants restore their energy and learn how to thrive in chaotic environments.

Carolina Women+ in Tech has been collaborating with OneTeam Leadership to serve our members and community with a workshop to facilitate personal and professional reflection paired with accountability and action.

Inspired by the feedback of the past annual workshops, we have turned this experience into a full-day summit.

Keynote: The Energy of Belonging at Work

Speaker: Wendy Gates Corbett | Speaker, Author, Consultant

For many of us, belonging is heady, conceptual, and theoretical. It seems big, complex, and complicated. Keynote speaker, Wendy Gates Corbett squashes that perspective by making belonging at work tangible and doable.

She brings belonging out of our heads and into our hands by equipping us with everyday practices that convey, “I’m interested in you as a human being, I value the contributions you make here, and I honor your humanity.”

The energy of belonging is built or destroyed one human interaction at a time. Harness the power generated from feeling connected to, respected, and protected by your peers and leaders. Every employee can build belonging from wherever they sit in an organization.

In this dynamic, engaging program, Wendy Gates Corbett, President of Signature Presentations, shares 9 practices we can use to energize belonging in the workplace, including real-world insights from her research on belonging. You’ll learn practices you can use tomorrow to deepen connections, recognize brilliance, and show others they are welcome and included.
