About This Event
Before AI tools and algorithms took over the conversation, there were real connections, strong resumes, and standout personal brands, and guess what? They still matter.
In this 90s/early 2000s–themed evening, a panel of career and HR professionals in tech break down the tried-and-true strategies that continue to open doors today. From networking that actually means something to building a reputation that sticks (no viral hacks required), we’re going back to basics, in the best way.
Expect real talk, practical advice, and a few nostalgic throwbacks along the way. Think AIM-era authenticity, first-job hustle energy, and the kind of confidence that didn’t rely on an algorithm boost.
🌟 Bonus points if you show up in your favorite 90s/2000s accessories: chunky clips, bucket hats, crimped hair and all, or give those low-rise jeans another moment (we won’t judge). Whether you lean full throwback or just hint at it, the vibe is fun, a little nostalgic, and grounded in what actually works.
No dial-up required — just real insight, real people, and strategies that still connect.

She specializes in providing the Upstate with expert talent in information technology, digital marketing, e-learning, e-commerce, software/web/app development, BI, FP&A, data experts and business analysts. Katherine brings a relationship‑driven, brand‑focused perspective rooted in proven career strategies, making her a tenured voice in exploring how authentic connections, strong resumes, and clear personal brands still open doors in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.
Claire Pfeiffer
Claire Pfeiffer is a Product Marketing Manager at Chyron and Communications Lead for Carolina Women in Tech Greenville. She’s built her career at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and digital presence.
