ABOUT THIS EVENT

Every year Carolina Women+ in Tech (CWIT) brings our community together to learn how to thrive in chaos.

This year’s all-day summit will be held at the gorgeous Pleasant Grove Farm, just 15 minutes from Uptown Charlotte. Get ready for tangible resources, mentorship, and inspiration to advance your career, and find a core group of fellow women+ in the tech industry while learning something new.

We’re excited to host an epic group of rockstar speakers and panelists, with a bit of networking in between!

Early bird registration is open until Tuesday, August 13. Early bird tickets are $100 and include all-day access to the event, breakfast, and lunch.

You’ve never been one to go easy on yourself but beating yourself up creates white-knuckle efforting and often leads to overworking with no return on the investment of your precious time. There’s a better, more sustainable way to motivate yourself that allows you to make significant contributions in the long term without exhaustion, resentment and burnout. In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn how to employ fierce self-compassion to get the job done and save your sanity in the process.

Emily will open the session with an active meditation and centering activity to help us refresh our minds as we transition to a topic focused on thriving in chaos. Emily will provide tips on managing stress and building resilience with the ever-changing nature of careers in tech.

Do I need a laptop?

We recommend bringing a notebook to take notes in, but you don’t need your laptop for any of our sessions.

 

Are food/drinks included?

Yes, breakfast and lunch will be provided for our attendees, as well as snacks.  Please let us know if you. have any dietary restrictions or allergies at [email protected] with the subject “Thriving in Chaos Diet Restriction.”

 

What do I wear?

The dress code for the day is business casual. Come comfortable but ready to make a great impression.
