✨ What’s Under the Tree for Tech?

Forget the crystal ball. We’re unwrapping the future together.

Carolina Women+ in Tech® is bringing Tech the Halls back to Raleigh with a fresh twist: Future Unwrapped, an interactive holiday tech experience exploring the ideas, innovations, and people shaping what comes next.

AI agents. Cybersecurity. Quantum computing. Healthcare innovation. Responsible AI. Workforce transformation.

Technology is moving fast—and before we wrap up 2026, we’re bringing together technologists, executives, educators, innovators, emerging leaders, and community builders to look beyond today's headlines and ask:

What are you betting on for 2027?

Come ready to make connections, challenge assumptions, share a prediction or two, and celebrate another year of innovation across the Triangle.

🎉 Networking With a Little More Spark
Skip the awkward networking script. Connect with technology leaders, innovators, mentors, recruiters, educators, and professionals through curated conversations, interactive networking, and a few festive surprises.

🎁 Future of Tech: Reimagined
Join us for a fast-moving conversation with leaders working at the intersection of today's technology and tomorrow's possibilities. We’ll explore practical AI applications, cybersecurity and responsible AI, quantum computing, healthcare technology, AI agents, and the changing workforce—with perspectives from people helping shape these fields right now.

🌲 The Future Tree
What technology trend are you betting on for 2028? Add your prediction to our Future Tree and see where the CWIT community thinks technology is headed. We’ll capture the predictions for a future look back—because half the fun of predicting the future is finding out who called it.

💡 Tech in the Real World
Go beyond buzzwords and hear how emerging technologies are actually being applied across industries—from AI-enabled healthcare and predictive algorithms to cybersecurity, education, enterprise technology, and the future of work.

🎲 Play + Connect
It wouldn’t be Tech the Halls without some fun. Expect interactive networking, raffle games, conversation starters, and opportunities to meet someone outside your usual tech circle.

🍪 Dinner, Treats + Holiday Cheer
Come hungry for ideas—and dinner. We’ll have food, refreshment, sweet treats, festive energy, and plenty of time to celebrate with the CWIT community.

Because the most interesting conversations about the future shouldn't happen only on a conference stage.

They should happen between an executive and a student. A cybersecurity leader and an AI practitioner. An entrepreneur and an educator. A technologist and a curious neither had considered before.

Tech the Halls: Future Unwrapped is designed to create those collisions.

Whether you build technology, lead teams, teach the next generation, hire talent, explore emerging tech, or simply want to understand what's coming next, there is a place for you in the conversation.

Bring your curiosity. Bring your predictions. Bring your holiday spirit.

We’ll bring the community.
